Water

Oil

Water, is the source of all life and the most fundamental human need.
However, while its geographic location and dry climate making MENA region the most water-scarce region in the world, global warming is making the population face imminent, severe water crisis. High non-revenue water and poor sewage treatment are also factors that constrain water availability and efficient management of water resources. KA Group is actively pushing Desalination Project and Wastewater Treatment Projects in coastal cities in the Middle East. With this, we expect to increase average share of clean water, to support industrial infrastructure development, and to manage water resources efficiently. Water resources in the MENA region are not a matter of national interest, but of national survival. Clearly recognizing such importance, we will provide a realistic solution to water crisis.

Desalination Project

Securing stable water resources is crucial for human survival and national security. As the world is now experiencing water scarcity or draught conditions, water desalination is increasingly being used to provide drinking water around the globe and the market demand is projected to grow day by day. Currently, more than 21,000 desalination plants are in operation worldwide, and the largest plants are located in the dry MENA region, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Israel.

For cities that are both dry but coastal, seawater desalination is both a sensible and competitive option. In particular, our Desalination Project constructing a 750,000 tons/day seawater desalination plant in the Middle East is expected to have a huge ripple effect on the development of related industries and the expansion of national finances by meeting the demand for infrastructure in new towns near the sea. We, KA Group, share together the challenge of fighting climate change and geographic determinism with science and technology.

Wastewater Treatment Project

There are few reliable figures on the percentage of wastewater generated from sewerage being treated worldwide. According to a global estimate by UNDP and UN-Habitat in 2010, 90% of all wastewater is discharged into the environment, untreated. Especially in developing countries, untreated wastewater and industrial wastes cause water pollution, which leads to destruction of river ecosystems and local residents dying of suspected poisoning.

KA Group’s Wastewater Treatment Project intends to fulfill its responsibilities in protecting water resources in developing countries, securing safe drinking water, promoting public hygiene and health, and protecting the ecosystem and environment by constructing sewage and wastewater treatment plants
